Question: What kind of tools are available to me for marketing WebPosition?

In addition, we have a proven program for sending follow-up e-mails to customers who download the trial. These offers are customized with your company information to ensure the prospects are driven to your site.


Question: How do I create a custom version of the WebPosition website to use for my clients?
Answer: On the Partner Resources page, you can download a fully-automatic program which allows you to create a custom version of the WebPosition website content. When you run this program, it will ask for your company information, e-mail address, etc. One you have completed the questionnaire, it generates a complete set of WebPosition gold web pages that you can post to your site. It also customizes the trial version of the WebPosition Gold 3 software to your business and offers many automated marketing options to help you promote WebPosition Gold 3.


Question: What is the standard dealer margin for WebPosition Gold?
Answer: For purchases of single units, dealer margin is 30%, however, there are volume discounts for dealers wishing to purchase in volume upfront and carry "inventory" for future sales. There is NO physical inventory, only license keys.

WebPosition Gold 3 Dealer Discount Structure (per order):

  • 50+ keys: 40% discount
  • 26-49 keys: 35% discount
  • 1-25 keys: 30% discount



Question: What kind of protection do you offer to dealers who buy a lot of keys up-front?
Answer: Dealers are offered a 60-day money back guarantee. That's an extra 15 days beyond what we offer end-users. This ensures that you can return excess keys and manage your inventory.


Question: What is the sign-up fee to become a dealer?
Answer: The initial fee of $149 includes a full-version of WebPosition Gold 3. The fee is fully refundable if you're not completely convinced that a WebPosition dealership is for you.


Question: Who sells upgrades to my customers later on?
Answer: As with most software publishers, WebPosition reserves the right to solicit version upgrades from its customers (i.e., version 2 to version 3), including those customers who may have originally purchased through a reseller. However, as a reseller, you are encouraged to sell Standard to Professional version upgrades to your customer base.


Question: Do I make money if I sign up additional dealers?
Answer: For each dealer you sign up, you will receive 5% on every sale they make plus an extra 30% of their $149 sign-up fee. Simply point people to your sign up form. When they become dealers, they will be keyed to your account, and you will be compensated for every copy of WebPosition Gold 3 they sell.


Question: You offer a 45-day money back guarantee on WebPosition Gold 3. Do I have to offer a money back guarantee as a Dealer?
Answer: It is not required, but we highly recommend that you do offer the money back guarantee. It takes the risk out of buying for your customers and helps you to sell more. We minimize a customers risk by offering a free 30-day trial, so that returns are typically minimal. If a return does occur, you simply return the registration key to us and we'll disable the customer's license from our server. We'll then exchange the returned key for a new one that you can resell again.


Question: Do I need a merchant account or the ability to take credit cards to become a WebPosition Gold dealer?
Answer: It is not necessary to have a merchant account. We will process your credit card transactions and send you a check every month at no charge. ,If you already have a merchant account and can process credit card payments, then you may do so.


Question: How does the customer receive their registration key?
Answer: It is up to you how you choose to do business with us. If we process your credit card payments, we will e-mail the customer their registration key and will send you a record of the sale.
